IT ALL STARTED WITH PRAYER WALKING!

In February 2018, I began walking around my school and praying for my coworkers, students, and families. I prayed for their salvation and that those who knew Jesus would be bold in their faith. One day I prayed that Jesus' name would be spoken in the hallways and classrooms of my school. Jesus soon answered that prayer in bigger ways than I could have imagined.
A couple months later as I was teaching a reading group, I realized that one of my second grade students was reading an old Bible. The eight year old boy opened to the front page and started reading the definitions of the words. He told me, "I want to learn more about God, heaven, and hell." After taking in what I had just heard, I asked him, "Where did you get that Bible from?" The student said, “I got it from our library.”
Jesus opened my eyes that day and put it on my heart to get engaging Bibles in the elementary school libraries in my county. Bibles in which they could read and would be excited to check out of the library. After rallying a team of friends, family, and people from my church, we donated The Action Storybook Bible to all of the 38 public elementary school libraries in our county.
It started a movement and people began to get excited to donate Christian literature in our public school libraries. People began joining the mission and the movement spread to schools across the United States of America! I never thought that my prayers would become a movement to make Jesus known in schools all across the nation.

OUR MISSION
Bibles in Schools’ mission is to facilitate the placement of engaging Bibles in public school libraries and other similar educational facilities.
Our Vision
Bibles in Schools exists so…
Every public school library in the United States would have engaging Bibles on their shelves!
Students and their families would be transformed by the Bible and come to have a personal relationship with Jesus.
People would be educated on their rights in the public schools, so that they can live out their faith boldly.
OUR CORE VALUES
We Pray BIG
“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” (Ephesians 3:20)
This whole movement began with prayer and we know that God can do mighty things when we call out to Him. Before this organization was launched, over 300 people were praying for this movement!
We Thank God
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus giving thanks to God the father through Him.” (Colossians 3:17)
We Stand for Truth
“Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior; and my hope is in you all day long.” (Psalm 25:4-5)
We Share Hope
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13)
We Expect the Impossible
“Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26)
We Believe
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and the only infallible, authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16).
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).
We believe in
the full deity and full humanity of Christ (John 1:1–14; Hebrews 1:3–5, 2:5–18),
His virgin birth (Luke 1:26–38),
His sinless life (2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:15),
His miracles (John 10:31–38),
His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood (Matthew 26:28; 1 Peter 2:24),
His bodily resurrection (John 20:1–31; Acts 1:1–3; 1 Corinthians 15:1–8),
His ascension to the right Hand of the Father (Acts 1:4–11),
His present rule as Head of the Church (Ephesians 1:22, 5:23; Colossians 1:18), and
His personal return in power and glory (Revelation 19:11–16; 22:7–21).
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life
(2 Corinthians 3:17–18).We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for the salvation of all who are separated from God by sin and rebellion (John 14:15–21; Romans 8:1–11; 1 Corinthians 12:3).
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are lost unto damnation (Matthew 25:41–46), and they that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life (Matthew 25:31–40; 1 Corinthians 15:42–57).
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, with equality across races, genders, and classes (Colossians 3:11).
